TEMPTATIONS

Today, I was tempted to eat more than my share of chocolates
Which were kept in a small pitcher by the fridge
I took a good swig of the chocolettes that beckoned me
And tasted it's sweet uncanny sour/sweet candy

After a couple of swigs I fell
An abyss swallowed me from the depths of the floor
I felt my heart flutter, my stomach cramp
My eyes shuttered, my mind sank

I was drowning in a pool of happiness
Chemical induced chocolate melancholy
I smiled and giggled and laughed
And ate another piece of that heavenly crap

Chocolates make you go insane
In a millisecond, if you bother to weigh
These are temptations in my brain
Filling me with oozing terrain
