February 02, 2008.
First for me.
My family, sawa na ata sa Subic, pinagbigyan lang ako.
Kaya nga naka blog ang Subic, kasi first time ko.
Hehehe

"What this country needs is not JUST a CHANGE OF MEN, but a ChANGE IN MEN"
-Richard Gordon
Former MAyor of Olongapo City, Secretary of Tourism and now a Senator-elect of the Philippines.
Curiously, the new MAyor is James Gordon Jr.
Change in Men... Change OF Men...
HAHAHA
Anyway.

Sa entrance, there were 2 uniformed guards and 1 uniformed soldier.
TO keep the peace.
Yeba!
Sayang hindi ko na picture yung
RULES nila.
Pero the one that was vigorously attended to was this.
FIRST TO STOP, FIRST TO GO.
(sorry for the picture, work of art ko yan)
So basically everone has to stop sa intersection. Since there were no traffic lights.
Tapos, the concept behind this only rule of driving inside the Base wasif you were the first to stop in the intersection, you are the first to go.
Explained: Us, in the pink car, stopped a second short of the green car. The green car goes through first. We can't go kahit it's a two-way lane. We have to let the green car pass the intersection. Then it will be our turn to pass. Then whoever in the blue or yellow car came first, it will be that car's turn to pass naman.
Capisce?

This brightly colored sign was our guide to reaching our destination.
But you know, the first view that greeted us and took my breath away was this.

HUMANDA KA, Subic.
